It is our hope that this site will best represent the goals and objectives for our company. We have always tried to keep an open agenda to satisfy the needs of our customers. Therefore, this site will continue to evolve in both scope and content.
We have organized our site into three sections:

BJ Consulting, Inc. is a California S-Corporation formed in June 1993 by its President, Barbara J. Nolley, and Chief Financial Officer, Joseph E. Laube.
Barbara brings to BJC over 20 years experience in Networking and Data Communications. With a strong technical background in Protocols and experience with a wide variety of Hardware and OSes, Barbara meets the demands of today's technologies. In order to stay current with these demands, Barbara subscribes to over 50 monthly and weekly industry publications. Her up-to-date knowledge of networking technologies is reflected in the accuracy and quality of her work.
During her 21 year career, Barbara has been involved with networking technology in a variety of roles including Course Development, Technical Training, Technical Support, Technical Writing/Editing, Software Quality Assurance, and Project Leadership.
She has successfully developed and delivered the following courses:
- 9-day CCNA Boot Camp
- 5-Day Test Technologies Boot Camp, including Tcl
and IP traffic generation
- Internetworking Overview for Cisco Engineers
- CIsco Products Overview for Cisco Engineers
- Novell Master CNE course, Fundamentals of Internetworking
- Distance Learning version of Novell's Networking Technologies
In addition to course development, recent accomplishments include the following:
- Technical Editor - Cisco Press Publication - Cisco CCNA Exam Certification Guide
- Designer and developer of a website for new development engineers
- Designer and developer of web-based training on networking technologies
Joe has a background in corporate operations and he currently handles all financial and operational duties for BJ Consulting, Inc.
In order to provide a greater range of services and better integrate with the goals and objectives of BJ Consulting, Inc., Joe has spent the past 7 years perfecting his skills in Wed Design, Web Graphics, and Electronic Imagery.
Joe can originate or edit a wide array of images, illustrations, and page layouts. Joe has extensive experience with the following applications on both the PC and Macintosh platforms:
